Jenny Daugherty
Jenny Daugherty graduated from Indiana University in sociology and history. She received an MA from Purdue University in American history. Jenny is the curriculum specialist on the engineering-related technology curriculum, Project ProBase. She was an assessor for Toyota and worked for a non-profit community action agency. She co-authored a history curriculum that was published in Illinois History Teacher. Jenny received an assistantship while working on her master’s degree. Jenny is an inductee of Phi Beta Kappa, Golden Key Honor Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and was awarded the Indiana County Scholarship. Jenny completed her doctoral program in Fall 2008 and was employed as the Interm Managing Director for the Center for Mathematics, Science and Technology (CeMaST) at Illinois State University during academic year 2008-09. She has accepted a position at Purdue University as an Assistant Professor in the Organizational Leadership and Supervision Department starting Fall semester 2009. Her dissertation title was Engineering-oriented professional development for secondary level teachers: A multiple case study analysis.
