Scott Wetter received a BA in Asian Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne. While serving in the Navy, Scott completed his MS in Mechanical Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School. He also completed his MS in Management from Oakland City University.

As a mechanical engineer and a 27 year retired veteran Navy Captain engineering duty officer, he has experienced first-hand the importance of preparing individuals for technical jobs in such areas as in electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical, nuclear and biological engineering fields. These experiences have shown that the abilities to problem solve, creatively design and effectively communicate with others in team environments will be instrumental to current and future technical participants.

Scott intends to seek further opportunities for learning on organizational development, creativity and project-based learning in developing future engineers and engineering programs, developing technical expertise and workforce optimization through education.
