Chandra Austin Chandra Austin graduated from North Carolina A & T State University in graphic communications systems with an emphasis in CAD and recently received a MEd from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Chandra has been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Epsilon Phi Tau, and Gold Key Honor Society and has also been involved with VICA. She has several years of experience working with different engineering firms as a CAD technician. Her long term goals include teaching at the university level and also doing curriculum development in the area of technology education. Chandra successfully defended her dissertation in May of 2009. The title of her dissertation is Factors influencing African-American high school students in career decision self-efficacy and engineering-related goal intentions. Chandra was a post-doctoral research associate at Utah State University during academic year 2009-2010 and is current a post-doctoral teaching fellow in the Honors College at Auburn University. |
