Leah Roue

Leah Roue received an AAS degree in architectural drafting and estimating from Dunwoody Institute and a BAS degree from Bemidji State University in industrial technology with an emphasis in construction management. She spent almost three years in industry managing and estimating small scale commercial projects and aiding with larger projects. Leah went back to school to get her MS degree in technology education from University of Wisconsin-Stout. Her thesis focused on young women’s perceptions of technology and engineering. She completed her PhD degree at the University of Minnesota in 2010. Her dissertation title was "A Study of Grade Level and Gender Differences in Divergent Thinking Among 8th and 11th Graders in a Midwestern School District." Leah is presently an Assistant Professor in the Construction Management Program at Minnesota State University Mankato.
