Cal State LA Fall Meeting October 2005

The agenda was tightly packed, in order to attend to all the Center business. In an effort to improve communication and build unity among the three programs (Graduate, Technolgoy Teacher Education, & Research) attendees from all 9 NCETE institutions met together to discuss the progress, issues, and concerns of the project. Dr. Ray Landis, Emeritus Dean, College of Engineering at Cal State LA presented, Retention by Design. Dr. Mark Tufenkjian, Professor, Technology Teacher Education Program at Cal State LA also presented. Dr. Tufenkjian demonstrated Cal State LA's Engineering Design Challenge, How Buildings Shake in a Quake . The meeting concluded with an Engineering Design and Analyis Panel Discussion.
