Dr.
Maurizio serves as Principal Investigator on the NCETE CSLA site.
and coordinator for development of the engineering teaching/learning
components. His program area is technology education (teacher preparation),
with over 25 years of experience in that field. His research includes
topics related to technology education curriculum (project-based learning),
program articulation, and special needs education in technology education.
Dr. Maurizio is also the director of the Center of Technology Education,
housed in the Department of Technology at Cal State L.A. The Center
provides curriculum development and in-service programs for the State
of California. In the past, he served as Department Chair for three
terms and as Associate Dean for six years.
